Each piece of information, no matter how insignificant you think it may be, plays a big part in fighting crime. Each incident will be entered onto the CCPO database. The database will gradually begin to build a crime profile for the Amanzimtoti area and from this we will be able to compile reports and statistics detailing the following: types of crime, crime hot spots, affect on the community, times, crime trends, crime patterns, etc.

03h00: Tango 2 contacted control about an alarm that went off next to Spur tango 2 preceded to the scene where ADT stood down after that everything was all in order.
04h00: Bravo 1 contacted tango 2 about a b/m who was seen jumping the fence at 40 Linscott Road and Dickens Road, tango 2 and bravo 1 had given chase with no luck they could not enter the house but from outside they saw a car parked in the yard registration ND 567223

At 20h32 there was a house break-in at 755 Kingsway Road the SAPS stood down.

At 23h10 there was alarm activation in Fynnland tango 11 did inspection with the owner and all was in order.

Client called saying there was a break-in this morning. They broke into his daughter's car a white Opel corsa, they took her sound system and he requested us to deploy some guards to his area. Tango 2 (Mike) informed but there were still busy with shift change and he will go out as soon as he was done, I also contacted the SAPS and they were dispatched tango 2 went to the scene and the man had left control contacted him and he said that we must wait for him.

Tango 3 informed control about a house break-in at 27 Sanders Road. Tango 3 went to the scene for inspection and found a b/m but he was an electricity reader he made a mistake to enter he premises without permission. The lady of the house who was pregnant locked herself in the bathroom.

Tango 3 contacted control stating there was 2 suspicious b/m's carrying 8 or so stolen school bags tango 2 went for inspection and couldn't find the men.

Tango 11 and 15 informed tango 2 about a suspicious vehicle registration NPN31021 green Toyota corolla at Beach Road. There were 2 b/m occupants. Tango 3 did the vehicle check and it came up as a hijacked golf. Metro Police were informed about this vehicle tango 2 chased the vehicle but lost them in the chase.

Tango 2 called tango 3 about a suspicious b/m at 2 Bracken Road. Tango 2 went to the house but did find the man.

Linda form 2 Entombeni Drive called control about 2 suspicious b/m's trying to jump the fence at her house and her daughter saw them standing by the gate she screamed and they ran away. One was wearing an orange t/shirt and the other was wearing a white t/shirt and carrying a stick, tango 3 attended to the complaint but he could not find the suspects. Control tried to phone the lady back but her phone was engaged, the client then called back and said she was very impressed with our service.

Client called informing us about 2 young boys one 11 and the other 15 trying to steal a camera from Photo First shop number 27 tango 2 went to the shop and arrested the boys the SAPS came out and took them to the Police Station.

Brody called informing control that there were 2 b/m's trying to jump his fence at home and his daughter was home alone tango 3 went out but didn't find the suspects.

Tango 3 contacted control about a suspect that was found in the yard at Erdwin Place and that a car had been broken into at Gardner Street he informed control that he will cover these areas in the night patrol.

Tango 3 noticed a white golf parked at R603 with no registration number there were 2 b/m's in the vehicle. Control contacted the SAPS who was dispatched. They found that the license disk was old and the driver was under the influence of alcohol. They were warned not to drive the car in that condition.

Bravo 2 responded to 669 Kingsway Road were the alarm went off he spoke to the nanny via the intercom and she said all is in order the alarm went off by mistake.

A client called control about a white VW golf on Hyper Sure in Winklespruit the b/m was sitting in the car watching down the road and there's no registration number. The lady who called stated that she was passing. Tango 3 said the above vehicle was reported to the SAPS before.

Tango 3 informed control about 2 suspects 1 b/m and 1 w/m that were carrying bags tango 3 checked the bags which found nothing suspicious in them.

Tango 3 called control about 3 suspects at the corner of Dingo and Ndongeni Roads they had a big bag with them tango 3 searched the bag and found binnies, jackets and takkies they were taken to the police station by tango 3.

Tracy form the CCPO called informing control about 4 youngsters carrying tools down to the train station in Winklespruit, they were wearing torn shirts, tango 2 (Mike) attended the call and he found the suspects. Tango 2 took the construction place where the tools were taken from, tango 3 informed tango 2 that the same suspects are Mozambicans and they have no passports tango 2 and 3 took them with the SAPS to the police station. List of power tools found Drill and a handle grinder.

A client called control asking if our members are patrolling opposite Steers in Toti and in front of Fynnland are allowing people to play cards and are taking money from them tango 2 went for inspection and found no people playing cards and asked the guards who said its not true control contacted the client and told him that mike was standing down if he wants to speak to him and he refused to as well as he refused to give his details.

Client phoned saying there is a b/m begging at Ocean View in Winklespruit tango 2 asked one of the others tango's in that area to patrol as he was busy with another complaint.

Craig called control about a suspicious black Mercedes there were 4 b/m's sitting in the car with a computer and a laptop. Craig called control again saying not to worry as they were just dropping someone off at Gardiner Road.

There was a car which was on fire at standard bank tango3 dispatched the Metro Police and the Fire Brigade tango 2 located to the scene and found the fire controllable and told tango 3 to Cancelle the call as he sorted it out the fire was caused from the wheel that burst registration number NT11169.

ND154139 white city golf 1600 has been stolen at Amanzi Flats in Beach Road. Members of SAPS stood down and tango 10 who reported the incident also stood down SAPS took all the details down from the complainant.

Mr Van De Marve called control saying he is leaving his house for a while and would like some to patrol 5 Salt wood as his child and wife will be home alone tango 2 (Peter) and tango 3 proceeded to that area.

Tango 30 had reported an incident of a vehicle that had hit 2 w/m's and ran his vehicle registration number ND602653 it was a b/m driver tango 3 managed to block him tango 2 and 30 proceeded to the scene where the 2 w/m's were laying in the road they were seriously injured control dispatched an ambulance netcare stood by and took the w/m's to the hospital the driver was detained.

Mr Navel Hattin called control stating he was 2 b/m's jump out his house and walked towards the train station, tango 2 and 3 proceeded to the scene after 5 minutes Chubb stood down suspects ran tango 3 contacted the SAPS and asked for the Dog unit to be dispatched down Ocean View way the dogs were going mad SAPS stood down the dog unit found a bag belonging to the suspects with all the dark clothing in no arrests were made.

Tango 2 (Clinton) informed control about a vehicle parked on the wrong side of the road with its hazards on and a b/m sleeping inside control did a vehicle check and it was negative the b/m was taken to the Toti Police station.

Tango 2 informed control about 4 b/m's and 1 b/fm walking on High Road in Doonside. All suspects were arrested as they were staying in a house that didn't belong to them and they had raped a 17 year old and a 23 year old.

Tango 2 (Brian) was asked by 62A and 47A to help them chase a small boy who stole a BMX bicycle in Beach Road next to the park 47A caught the boy and he was then taken to the Police station by Tango 2 the police gave the boy a warning and the owner of the bicycle said he mustn't be charged.

Tango 2 (Brian) reported that he found 1 b/m at Toti Mall trying to commit suicide as he killed his girlfriend he was taken to the Police Station.

Control received a call from a lady reporting domestic violence and needed our members to remove her husband from the house tango 2 was informed and went to the scene the SAPS was dispatched. At 19h02 the client called back stating her husband had left the house and we mustn't worry.

Tango 3 informed tango 2 of a positive house breaking at 4 Neumann Road in Warner Beach tango 2 responded and while on route to the house tango 3 insisted to have an update of the matter at the Hub store, when tango 2 arrived at the scene SAPS and Metro Police were standing down, tango 2 left scene to look for the suspect with tango 6 and 7 near Warner Beach train station A Guard from Isipingo informed tango 6 that he saw a armed b/m who ran towards the station with 2 bags in his hand. A few minutes later the SAPS arrived at the station and asked tango 2 to wait for them, the Metro Dog unit arrived at the station were tango 2 told them about the armed suspect. Tango 3 proceeded to talk on the radio about the situation at Hub where ADT wanted to take the glory according to tango 3 Charlie mike 2 came over the radio and told tango 3 to stop worrying about the glory as long as the work was done. When SAPS arrived back at the station tango 2 spoke to them to plan the next plan of action tango 3 called and he was asked to standby by tango 2 to which tango 3 replied that tango 2 must stop having a tea party. SAPS member asked for the radio and told tango 3 that there is no tea party they were trying to resolve the matter. After everything it came out that the complainant was under the influence and she had a fight with her boyfriend no forced entry to the house. Tango 3 complained about tango 2 giving the radio to the SAPS.

Tango 3 called control and told her that no SAPS members are allowed to touch our radios which came to a surprise as tango 3 told a guard to give the radio to the SAPS earlier. He told control that there are CCPO members monitoring the radios and the SAPS are not permitted to use our radio's unless permission is granted by Les.

Tango 12 informed tango 2 of a man who broke his leg while crossing the road at Toti station. Tango 2 asked for an ambulance to be dispatched. Tango 2 assisted the man into a comfortable position and covered him with a raincoat. Tango 2 bought coke to help with the shock, he was shaking and crying. Tango 3 called at CBD guards to report to KFC Toti, tango 2 responded that 3 members will stay to assist with the injured man but tango 3 insisted that the man is to be left alone with tango 2 and guards to report to the KFC for suspicious man. Tango 2 refused because he was worried about the old man will go into shock. Ambulance arrived to take Mr Sharley to Kingsway Hospital. Tango 2 sent tango 15 to patrol and found the suspicious man tango 3 was talking about and found he was just a Fidelity Guard reporting for work.

Kelleman contacted control informing them about 4 b/m's who tried to steal a Tazz. The client was at Toti tennis court tango 2 (Mike) went for inspection and couldn't find anything in that area. SAPS were also informed.

Tango 4 informed tango 2 about a b/m who was hitting a b/fm behind Spar tango 2 arrested the b/m and was taken to the Police Station the injured b/fm will lay a charge against him.

Morne called the control about 2 b/m's outside the house and was just worried as her neighbors car was outside and didn't want it to get stolen tango 2 attended the call and spoke to the client the 2 suspects had left already but the client was impressed with our service.

Tango 2 and 3 standing down at Steers in Warner beach they saw a green and white Toyota yras racing past and raced back tango 2 & 3 approached them and spoke to them a member of the public said he didn't like what he was seeing and took down tango 2's registration number tango 2 couldn't do anything about it.

Tango 3 contacted control about a car theft in progress at number 57 Bailey Road tango 2 and 3 went to the scene and found Chubb and SAPS the vehicle was half open but all was in good condition the suspect was not found.

Tracy from the CCPO contacted control stating that a lady was driving by the BP station and heard a bang on her windscreen but she managed to get away unhurt. I called tango 2 and Nicky the lady who was in the incident phoned the SAPS who said they would someone out, then control contacted Tracy as well to inform about the progress and she was grateful. Control contacted the client who informed us that the SAPS were there and all was in order.

Client called from 38 Churchill Road Athlone Park stating there is some one breaking into the house suspect gained entry from the kitchen window but the alarm went off they stole a laptop and a couple of jackets, no description of the suspects were given.

Elaine called control about suspicious b/m's around her shop at 13 Beach Road control informed tango 2 and he went for inspection all in order.

Mrs J Thompson contacted control stating while at the ATM in Athlone Park a b/m went to help her in doing so I swapped her card the b/m was driving a dark blue Toyota registration ND 273875 vehicle check came back negative. Client was informed to open a case.

Tango 2 (Rob) informed control about windows been broken in the CBD area the suspects fled on foot suspect was wearing leather pants and a denim jacket aged between 18-20 chase was given but could catch them ADT stood down tango 12 was informed by tango 2 to guard the broken windows for the shift.

Tango 2 (Rob) contacted control and informed control about a drunken b/m at the Inter Section of Kingsway who was removed by tango 2.

Tango 2 (Rob) reported that there was a car crash across the road form the tax rank in Toti. Registration numbers of both cars ND593212 and ND336062.
