The database will gradually begin to build a crime profile for the Amanzimtoti area and from this we will be able to compile reports and statistics detailing the following: types of crime, crime hot spots, affect on the community, times, crime trends, crime patterns, etc.

Tango 2 informed control that 2 b/m's got chased by community members and they ran into the bush at Warner Beach. They broke in at Harcombe Road they took a laptop and 2 cell phones were missing in the house. Both suspects were arrested dog unit and rape respond were on the scene. Case number received.

Mrs Smith contacted control about 4 b/m's trying to jump in to houses but they saw her looking at them and ran away.

India bravo 1 had contacted tango 2 about attempted car theft outside Spar in Winklespruit 1 b/m had broken into a red Nissan bakkie but it has anti hijack so he got away with a jacket and a cell phone.

Tracy from the CCPO called and informed control that there was a b/m checking out all the cars at FNB he was wearing a white cap and he is tall and thin tango 2 went and questioned the b/m and was informed that he was waiting for a taxi tango 13 was told to watch the b/m.

Tango 3 informed control that he got a call from a client in Cruikshaw Road in Doonside there were 2 b/m's walking up and down the road tango 3 found the suspects shaking the gate at number 13. Tango 3 said he is taking them to the Police Station. The SAPS informed tango3 that these suspects are house breakers.

Client from Nathaniel Isaacs Road in DoonHeights had complained about a drunken b/m interfering with his gate trying to gain access tango 2 and India bravo removed the b/m and took him to the Police Station where he was detained for drinking in public OB number received.

Tango 2 reported that Bravo 1 and 2 caught a suspect at Spencer Road Athlone Park and he is a house breaker he was wearing a blue jacket and black shoes tango 2 took him to Toti Police Station.

A brick was thrown threw my son window, this was their entry point. They trashed my 4yr old son bedroom, upturning cupboards, draws, toys, then then proceeded to the main bedroom ransacking the cupboards, smashed glass boxes on the dressing room table, ruffled threw papers and files. They got away with labtops, videos cameras, digitial cameras, jewellary and crystal ornaments. They where still in the house when my husband and son came home. We are with chubb but they did not receive a signal from house when the alarm went off. I am in the process of signing up with CCPO.

The principle of Doone Heights Primary School informed control about 4 b/m's stopping cars at the stop street of Seadoone and Stanwick tango 2 went for inspection and couldn't locate the b/m's.

Client stays at Mopani Road reported his house had been broken into for the 2nd time the first time was about 2 weeks ago and they took some of his belongings. Tango 2 (Mike) went to the site and suggested that a member stayed in that area until the handy man came to fix the broken window.

Client from Mount Road reported that her car was stolen outside her house. tango 2 went an saw the client and she gave all her details of the vehicle.

Mrs Potgieter of Warner Beach Junior had informed control about 4 b/m's walking up and down Kingsway Road. Tango 8 went to the call out and saw the b/m's walking down to the beach.

Mrs Potgieter contacted control again to inform us that the b/m's were back in the area tango 2 went and questioned the b/m's and they work at Gus Brown Road tango 2 took the to the address that they gave and its positive.

At Lords and Legends 2 b/m's were seeking help after they were hijacked of their truck and belongings. Tango 2 and 3 responded and spoke to the victims and the SAPS were dispatched.

Client by the name of Sandy called stating that a suspicious vehicle White Honda reg. no. ND 68395 was driving around the area where she stays at Dan Pienaar Drive in Toti. Tango 2 was informed and attended to the report, but could not locate the vehicle. Client was informed about it.

Tango 2 had patrol top hand and found all in order, at Agalax flat.

Tango 2 had been doing his patrol at Long Acres drive when e saw a BM; he asked him what he was doing. He had no straight answer where he was from. He took him back to the place. He then found out that the man in the BM had raped someone and ran from this place, they proceeded to Police Station. He was detained; a case was opened without the victim being present. The victim will be brought to the police station at a later date, then we will be able to get case no.

Tango 10 reported that when patrolling he found that the shop 45 in the Perm Building in Beach road, had the burglar guard left unlocked but everything is under control. Tango 02 informed the owner, arrived after 10 minutes and told Tango 10 that the gate does not work at all.

Tango 04 reported that he got information from the car guard at Winklespruit that vehicle Reg no ND 327773 – a white Nissan Sentra had been parked there for about 3 hours in the morning and 4 BM where inside of the vehicle, which then proceeded to KFC. Tango 03 promised to do a vehicle check.

Tango 06 called Tango 02 to report that one WF came and reported seeing a BM jumping the fence at a house in Almond Northway road.

Client called the control room about 5 BM jumping the fence at Prince Street, Athlone Park. The client was driving past, so unfortunately could not get a clear description, but did mention that one of them where wearing a blue denim, Tango 02 went and inspected and caught two BM and handed tem over to the SAPS. Tango 02 also informed us that the suspects were caught outside the house no entry was made. Tango 02 informed Tango 18 and 19 to be on the look out. Client was updated no case was opened.

Tango 03 dispatched Tango 02 to attend to a situation at Shella road, on inspection Tango 02 found a suspect in Almond road, app. 18 – 25 years old. His hands where covered in cuts, he responded by stating he had picked up rocks. The suspect was handed over to SAPS dog unit. Tango 02 states that the suspect broke the window at a home in Shella road, case No 127-007.

Tango 04 called Tango 02 and informed him that the car guard at Winklespruit Spar states that 3 BM driving a silver grey Jetta was trying to steal a (green Bakkie) next to Spar.

Kaye-leigh received a fax from the CCPO that there is a servitude which runs at the back of the property and we have a gate for access should it be needed. The gate being an easy access point for intruders. My husband was returning some equipment to our shed, when he noticed that our old lawn mover was missing. This is propped up against the wooden gate which is pulled over the metal gate, locked with two pad locks.

On investigation he found that the padlocks of the metal gate had been forced. We can’t understand how they got into the property. The fact that they took the time to pull the gate closed, must mean that they where disturbed. There was nothing else except the lawn mower taken, not even the clothes on the line was touched.

Control dispatched tango 2 and India bravo 1 for inspection they found SAPS standing down looking for those suspects the informed India bravo 1 about 3 attempt break in’s in May Road, Bailey Road and Booth Road but nothing was taken. Suspects were not found.

My son and his girlfriend was attacked by five black youths aged between 13 and eighteen, he would not give them money and they attacked him and his girlfreind with sticks, he was severely beaten on his back protecting his girlfreind.This attack took place at 2.30 in the morning after a session at a nite club.

Client who lives in Heather Road informed control about 3 b/m’s swearing at her husband but her husband didn’t notice what they look like. Bravo 1 and 2 were dispatched when they arrived they gave chase and couldn’t keep up the b/m’s ran away.
